My house in the French Pyrenees is ready and waiting with its lovely view of the mountains for deserving types. It's a three bedroomed house with a swimming pool, not far from a town called Bagneres de Bigorre. You can fly to Pau with Ryan Air (45mins away by car) or Toulouse with Easyjet or BA. (1 and 1/2 hrs away).
I've now converted the basement of the house into a one bedroom flat which means that people can stay in the house above when I'm there and it's no problem. With this is mind I thought it might be nice to offer the house to people who might be struggling to afford a holiday - and to offer them a nice break in order to re-charge their batteries. (The only cost would be the flights and hiring a car.) I was thinking particularly of people who have to devote their lives to others as carers, and who would value a few days relaxing in a very peaceful part of the world. But you might have other reasons to nominate people who you think are deserving.
